Happy Early Valentine’s Day!! Okay…I agree, I could care less for the holiday, but you got to admit, Valentines Day was really fun back in elementary school lol. And speaking of fun, it was always exciting receiving unexpected presents from your friends and family!
I find Valentines Day the perfect day to show appreciation to those around you. Whether its someone from your family, or your best friend that you simply can’t live without! Maybe you’re trying to think of a cute gift idea for a special someone in your life. I have two super cheesy ideas that I think you’d absolutely love!! And quite possibly melt your heart <3
What I love about this gift, is that it’s meant for just about anyone! A best friend, boy/girlfriend, Parents, Siblings, Relatives. Just to name a few. Since I live miles away from my own family, I’m thinking I’ll send a Hershey Mason Jar over to them as well!
Take a mason jar. Pile it with your favorite kisses. Tightly close the lid. And you can either write on a sticky note or print a beautiful label and tape it onto the jar. It becomes a very fun and cheesy way to let someone know that you love them:) And might I add that it’s the perfect gift for your kids!?
Don’t be afraid to add your own creative ideas! Add a ribbon or a beautiful string around the rim or bottom of the jar. You can mix in small notes with the kisses. Or even add another delicious chocolate inside!!
To get started you can neatly arrange the crackers, chocolate and marshmallows inside. Gently close the jar.
A sticky note would work well, but knowing myself, I love getting a little creative! So as shown in the picture, you can create these online or print out a template and tape it onto the jar. If I have time, I’d even add a cute little ribbon around the rim of the jar. If not, you can simply tie a little string around multiple times to give it more of a rustic look! Although, it will look just as fabulous without the string and the ribbon!
I say it’s a wonderful gift for a friend or family member. I’d even recommend this to your husband who’s hopefully not on a new years diet! haha.
“…as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience…and forgive one another…put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Colossians 3:12-14
Valentines Day means to show a friend that you’re thinking of them. Its a small gesture of thoughtfulness. After I graduated high school, I realized that Valentine’s day doesn’t have to be just for couples! We’re surrounded by amazing people everyday! And sadly forget to tell them that! So show some love to your best friends, especially your family this Valentines Day!!
