Chai Spiced Coconut Milk

Chai Spiced Coconut Milk is like a warm hug in a mug. This warm drink full of chai spices will heat you up from the inside out and provide a lot of anti-inflammatory health benefits. It's such a great and beautiful drink for cold and dreary weather.

Chai Spiced with Coconut Milk

With blend of ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and star anise, it's a great middle of the winter drink. Its ingredients warms you from the inside and gives you a lot of immune boosting benefits.

The coconut milk really gives it that sweet and creamy texture. In addition, I've added ginger, it stimulates circulation in your blood, so it's perfect for those days when you're frozen to the bone!

Ginger is also anti-inflammatory, providing immune boosts during those months when coughs and colds start making their annual rounds. Nobody has time to get sick, am I right?

What Other Spices Can I Use?

I've used very minimum spices in my coconut drink, but there are tons of other variations you can try for an extra boost to your immune system.

  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2-3 Whole Peppercorns
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 2-3 Whole Cardamom Pods
  • 4 Whole Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Bean Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Black Tea

Can I Use Dairy?

You definitely can! I used coconut milk to give it a more creamy texture and because of our lactose-intolerance. If you want to keep it dairy-free, feel free to use almond milk, cashew milk, oat milk, or hemp milk. But you can also use whole milk.
