Herbal Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Why can't Fall take over 90% of the calendar?? Because I don't know about you, but I'm in love with everything pumpkin! They make every picture that much more cozy and fun looking! Wouldn't you agree? And the Autumn colors are simply divine!

Though Autumn is filled with fun and cozy sweaters, it's that time of year again where you really need to watch your health. Flu season is here and everyone all of a sudden has the sniffles. Especially the kiddos. This plant-based smoothie has all the anti-inflammatory and antioxidants you'll need! Everything from bananas to ginger. And not to mention, it's sugar-free.

Making this Herbal Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is like having a vegan slice of Fresh Pumpkin Pie! It's really good and is a quick on-the-go snack before you head out to work or school. Or even if you're staying in with the kids, this smoothie is such a great immune booster.

I love this particular smoothie, because you can add your own ingredients, such as flax seeds, chia seeds, even nuts, if you're in the mood.

Pumpkin Smoothie

Whether you're a pumpkin smoothie fan or a pumpkin pie fan, this smoothie might as well be for you. But I can tell you this, aside from tasting like pumpkin pie, this smoothie is:

  • Super Creamy - The coconut milk really enriches the texture. Even if you're using some other nut milk, you'll get close to the same results!
  • PACKED with Pumpkin Flavor - gotta love Autumn and the endless supply of pumpkins!
  • Make Ahead - Love this method too! If you know you'll be in a rush in the morning, make it the night before and put it into the fridge! Just give it a nice swirl before you drink it!
  • Kid Friendly - This smoothie is literally like a piece of heaven in a cup! Looks like a smoothie, but tastes like Pumpkin Pie! Best part? It's plant based.
  • Vegan - Everything is organic as can be. Plant Based:)
  • Paleo - Nothing processed, or sugary in this smoothie! It's quite incredibly actually, haha.

  • 4 Frozen Bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups Pumpkin Puree
  • 2-4 tbs Maple Syrup or Honey
  • 1-2 cups Coconut Milk, or any other non-dairy milk
  • 1 tbs Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ginger or 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp Fresh Turmeric or 1/2 tsp Ground Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract


  1. In a blender, combine 1 cup coconut milk, or other non-dairy milk and bananas, blend until smooth.
  2. Add in all your other ingredients. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add more milk as needed to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Enjoy!
